Please ensure you read and agree with the terms and conditions listed below.
Jack’s accepts your reservation subject to the following terms and conditions.
By confirming your reservation you accept all terms and conditions stated.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. RESERVATIONS
Bookings made online via this site are confirmed once you have completed the booking process and received a reservation number.

The person registering at check-in must be a minimum 18 years of age and at least one adult of 18 years or older staying in booked accommodation room.

2. CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS
Bookings made more than 15 days prior to arrival can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.
The credit card used to make the booking will be charged for the full amount of your stay 14 days prior to arrival. There is no refund within 14 days of arrival.

PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS:
The above conditions are extended to 31 days prior to arrival for the period 16 December to 10 January.

In case of a no show the room will be held until 10:00am following the day of arrival and will incur the full cancellation charge. It is your responsibility to contact Jack’s in the event of a change of circumstances.

3. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Guests can check-in from 3pm and should check-out by 10am.

4. PAYMENT
All credit / debit cards, cash and direct bank transfer (ZAR or GBP) are acceptable forms of payment.

5. MEALS
No meals are included in the room rate at Jack’s.  Meals and drinks cannot be charged to the room.
Jack’s restaurant and coffee shop is open from 9am to late daily EXCEPT Wednesday when the restaurant is closed all day.
No meals or beverages are available at Jack’s on a Wednesday.

6. DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Guests’ liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage to the Guest House’s property or structure, whether caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act.  Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make the charge on the guest’s credit/debit card.
Management & staff of Jack’s will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury or illness incurred or suffered by any Guest or any other person whilst on the premises or property. A member of staff must be alerted to any electrical, plumbing or maintenance faults.

7. SMOKING.
We are a completely smoke free establishment. If a guest has been smoking and caused damage or rendered the room unusable due to smoke smell then we reserve the right to charge the guest on his debit/credit card to make good the room and for any loss of revenue.

8. ROOM SERVICING
For stays of more than one night we will service your room daily. Linen will be changed and replenished every third day.

9. ROOM ACCESS
We reserve the right to enter your room during your stay for the purposes of maintenance, repairs, security, housekeeping and inspection.

10. GENERAL
Jack’s reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove sections of these terms and conditions at any time without notice or liability. It is not the responsibility of Jack’s to inform you of any changes and any future reservations you make will be made subject to the terms and conditions which apply at the time a booking is made.
