Whilst in Betty's Bay you may need to come off the beach or down from the mountain and seek a service, meal or amenity to further increase the enjoyment of your stay with us:

Here is a snapshot of what you can expect:

Restaurants - Jack’s – After 17 years serving customers from far and wide Jack’s Restaurant closed in July 2025.
Within walking distance of Jack’s you will find:
Waaygat – Asian Fusion open for dinner, Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday lunch.
Sitar – Durban Curries and home-made boerekos, open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 8pm.
The Bistro – coffee, breakfast and light meals. Open daily except Monday 8am to 3pm
Camelot – pub with wide screen TV for showing sport. Open midday to late daily.

Groceries – The closest big supermarket is either Shoprite or SuperSpar in Kleinmond but the two shops by the Petrol Station sell a small selection of groceries and other items such as soap & toothpaste.

Pharmacies – In Pringle Bay or in Kleinmond

Banks – Only branches of ABSA & Nedbank are located in Kleinmond, but all bank ATMs can be found next to the Spar Mall.

Local ATMs – At the Petrol Station in Betty’s Bay and in the Centre Shop

Liquor Stores – There is a wine boutique in the adjacent building to Jack’s, otherwise for all other purchases you must travel to Kleinmond or Pringle Bay.

Laundry - There is a laundry situated within walking distance of Jack’s, open Monday to Friday only. There is a laundry in Kleinmond that is open on Saturday for same day service.

Petrol - Astron – Betty’s Bay (open 7am to 7pm)
BP – In Gordon’s Bay (30kms)
Shell – On the N2 before Somerset West heading into Cape Town
Engen – On the N2 before the airport
Sasol – In Kleinmond (open 24 hours)

Medical & Holistic - We have doctors, dentists, opticians, pharmacies and physios in the local area plus we have numerous practitioners in the more gentle arts of massage, reflexology, stress release, and reiki.

Hermanus – 45 minutes
Gordons Bay - 30 minutes
Somerset West – 45 minutes
Cape Agulhas – 2.5 hours
Cape Town Airport – 75 minutes (plus time to drop car)
Cape Town Waterfront – 2 hours
Simon’s Town – 90 minutes
